|---|---|
| Registered address | Room 201, No. 38 Yizhan Road, Nancheng Street, Dongguan, Guangdong 523000, China |
| Privacy contact | contact@movoire.com |
| Support | support@movoire.com |
| Website | https://movoire.com |
2. Scope of this policy
This policy applies to the Movoire iOS, Android and web clients and to this website. It does not apply to third-party services you reach through our service (such as the App Store, Google Play, or Sign in with Apple / Google Sign-In), which process your information independently under their own privacy policies.
3. What we collect
We follow data minimisation. You do not need to provide your real name, government identity documents or payment card details to use Movoire.
3.1 Information you provide
| Category | What it includes | Why we need it |
|---|---|---|
| Account and sign-in identifiers | The unique account identifier and identity token returned when you sign in with Apple, Google or WeChat; and, if you authorise it, your email address, display name and profile picture. | To create and recognise your account and sync your works across devices. We never receive your password for those services. |
| Your artwork and generated results | The original artwork photo you upload by camera or from your library; the animated work (video) we generate; titles, notes and other text you enter. | To perform scene understanding, motion choreography and video generation, and to save the results to your personal collection. |
| Community content | Animated works you choose to publish, your text comments and replies, likes and saves, follow relationships, and reports or appeals you submit. | To provide community browsing, interaction, content moderation and appeals. Your original photo is not published by default. |
| Support correspondence | The content of emails you send to support@movoire.com or contact@movoire.com, your email address and any attachments. | To answer your questions and handle your requests. |
| Deletion requests | The email address, account details, reason and confirmation information you submit on this website. | To verify account ownership, complete the deletion and reply to you. |
3.2 Information generated automatically when you use the service
| Category | What it includes |
|---|---|
| Job and work metadata | Creation time, status and quota usage of your works and generation jobs, and a job identifier (traceId). |
| Technical diagnostic logs | App version, operating system and version, device model, request timestamps, failure stage, error codes and redacted error summaries. |
| Session and security data | Session records used to keep you signed in (hashes of access and refresh tokens), issue and expiry times, and revocation status. |
Our diagnostic logs never record third-party service keys, signed media URLs, your image content, full model prompts, or raw model responses.
3.3 Subscriptions and purchases
Movoire memberships are purchased through in-app purchase on the App Store and Google Play. We never see or store your payment card number or billing address. We receive only what is needed to validate a subscription — for example a purchase token, product identifier, subscription status and expiry date — in order to confirm your membership and grant your monthly quota.
3.4 What we do not collect
- We do not collect your contacts, SMS, call logs or precise location.
- Camera and photo library permissions are requested only when you actively take a photo or choose artwork, and are used only for the content you select. We never read your library in the background.
- We do not collect your advertising identifier for cross-app tracking, and we do not show third-party ads in the app.
4. How we use it
- Core functionality: receive your uploaded artwork, perform scene understanding, motion choreography and animation generation, and save the result to your collection.
- Account and sync: create your account, keep you signed in, and sync your works across your devices.
- Membership and quota: validate subscription status and deduct or restore monthly generation quota.
- Community features: display the public feed, interactions and author pages.
- Safety and moderation: detect abnormal requests, prevent abuse, detect violating content, and handle reports and appeals.
- Troubleshooting and improvement: use redacted diagnostic logs to identify generation failures and improve reliability and output quality.
- Support and legal obligations: answer your requests and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We rely on the following legal bases: performance of our contract with you, your consent (for example camera and library permissions, and public posting), and our legitimate interests in keeping the service safe and reliable.
5. AI processing and third-party models
Generating an animated work is the core of Movoire. When you start a generation, we send your artwork to third-party AI model services for understanding and generation. This is a necessary part of the service:
| Step | Capability used | Data processed |
|---|---|---|
| Scene understanding and motion choreography | Vision-language model (via OpenRouter, deepseek/deepseek-v4.1-flash) |
The artwork image you uploaded for that request |
| Animated work generation | Video generation model (via OpenRouter, bytedance/seedance-2.0-fast) |
The artwork image and the choreography result for that request |
This data is used only to complete the generation request you initiated and is not used for other purposes afterwards. Our agreements with these providers govern their processing, and we do not authorise them to use your artwork to train their own models or for advertising.
To reduce exposure of sensitive information, please upload only artwork you are comfortable processing. If the image contains other people’s faces, identity information or third-party content you do not want processed, please remove it first or do not upload it.
6. Who we share it with
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal data. We share it only where necessary:
| Recipient | Purpose | Data involved |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Cloud infrastructure: compute, database, object storage and content delivery | All server-side data (account, works, job metadata, diagnostic logs) |
| OpenRouter, Inc. and its upstream model providers | Scene understanding, motion choreography and video generation | The artwork image you uploaded for that request and the choreography data required |
| Apple Inc. (App Store, Sign in with Apple) | App distribution, in-app purchase and subscription validation, Apple sign-in | Purchase token and subscription status; account identifier and identity token returned at sign-in |
| Google LLC (Google Play, Google Sign-In) | App distribution, in-app purchase and subscription validation, Google sign-in | Purchase token and subscription status; account identifier and identity token returned at sign-in |
| Tencent (WeChat Open Platform) | WeChat sign-in in the Chinese-language interface | Account identifier and identity token returned at sign-in |
We may also disclose information where required by law, judicial or administrative order; where necessary to protect users, the public or our legitimate rights; and to a successor in the event of a merger, acquisition or transfer of assets (in which case we require the recipient to remain bound by this policy).
7. What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your personal data.
- We do not use your artwork or uploads to train our own models.
- We do not serve third-party ads in the app or use your data for cross-app behavioural tracking.
- We do not publish your original artwork automatically — publishing always requires an explicit action from you, and by default only the generated animated work is published.
- We do not use your artwork to generate “same-style” content for other users.
8. Where we store it and for how long
Your data is stored on cloud infrastructure provided by Cloudflare, Inc. (compute, D1 database and R2 object storage). Data centres may be located outside your country or region. Media files are served through time-limited signed URLs that stop working once they expire.
| Data | Retention |
|---|---|
| Account information and works (original artwork and generated results) | Kept until you delete them, so that you can revisit and export them at any time. |
| Published community content | Kept until you delete that post or delete your account. Deleting a public post does not delete your personal original. |
| Diagnostic logs | Retained for a short period, used only for troubleshooting and stability analysis. |
| Session records | Refresh tokens expire after at most 30 days idle or 90 days absolute; they are invalidated immediately on sign-out or revocation. |
| Subscription and transaction records | Retained as required by legal, tax and accounting obligations, typically no longer than 3 years. These records evidence a transaction and cannot be removed early by deleting your account. |
| Deletion request records | Retained for a limited period to evidence that we fulfilled the deletion. |
9. How we protect it
- Data is encrypted in transit with TLS, and media objects are served through time-limited signed URLs.
- Identity tokens are verified server-side against official public keys, with issuer, audience and expiry checks.
- Access tokens last 15 minutes; refresh tokens are stored server-side only as hashes, never in plaintext, and rotate on every use.
- Native clients keep refresh tokens in the Android Keystore / iOS Keychain; the web client uses an
HttpOnly,Secure,SameSite=Nonecookie and never writes them to local storage. - Works and jobs are isolated per user; only the account owner can access their own content.
No technical measure can guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your rights, we will notify you through the app or by email as required by law.
10. Your rights
- Access: view your personal information and all your works in the app.
- Correction: update your display name, picture and preferences in Settings; contact support for anything else.
- Export: save your generated works to your device photo library.
- Deletion: delete individual works, unpublish content, or delete your entire account.
- Withdraw consent: turn off camera or library permissions in your system settings. This does not affect processing already carried out.
- Object or restrict processing: contact us if you believe our processing goes beyond this policy; we will assess and respond.
- Complain: you may lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. We would prefer to resolve it with you directly first.
To exercise these rights, email contact@movoire.com. To protect your account, we may need you to verify ownership through your registered email or a signed-in device. We respond within 15 business days.
11. Account and data deletion
You can delete your Movoire account and its associated data in two ways:
- In the app (recommended): open Movoire → “Mine” → Settings → Account → Delete account. It takes effect immediately after you confirm.
- Web request: if you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, use the account and data deletion page and follow the instructions there.
Deletion permanently removes: your account and sign-in identifiers, original artwork photos, generated animated works, titles and notes, published community content (works, comments and replies), likes and saves, follow relationships, notifications, and session records.
We retain: only the transaction and subscription records needed to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations (typically no longer than 3 years), and the deletion request record evidencing that we fulfilled the deletion. These records are not used for any other purpose. Deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone — please save anything you want to keep beforehand.
12. Children and minors
Movoire is designed for adults and is not intended for independent use by children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the higher age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not allow children to register their own accounts.
We understand that many parents use Movoire to keep their children’s artwork. In that case:
- The account must be registered and held by the adult parent or guardian, who manages all content in it.
- When uploading a child’s artwork, you must have the right to do so. If another child’s face or identifying information appears, obtain consent from their guardian first or avoid uploading it.
- Publishing to the community is an act of the adult account. Please do not include a child’s name, school, address or other identifying information in published content.
- If we learn that an account is actually held or used by a child on their own, we will delete the account and its data.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe we hold your child’s personal information, contact contact@movoire.com and we will verify and delete it promptly.
13. International transfers
Movoire uses global cloud services, so your information may be transferred to and stored on servers outside your country or region. We apply contractual and technical measures requiring recipients to protect your information in line with this policy and applicable law.
14. About this website
This website contains product and legal information for Movoire and is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It does not use cookies or similar technologies for advertising or tracking, and it does not use an analytics tool. The Chinese typefaces are served by Google Fonts, so your browser makes a request to Google’s servers when loading them; beyond that, this website does not actively collect your personal information. Deletion requests and emails you submit through this website are handled as described in sections 3 and 11.
15. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when our features, data practices or legal requirements change, and we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. If a change materially affects your rights, we will tell you through an in-app notice or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use Movoire means you accept the updated policy.
